It is the procedure that is done to make a facial rejuvenation and that includes several surgeries: endoscopic frontoplasty, eyelids (blepharoplasty) and rejuvenation of the middle third and neck.
The objective of the procedure is to reposition the tissues and return them to the location they had when the patient was younger. It requires an adequate evaluation of each part of the face to define what changes are necessary, and thus obtain a result without deforming characteristics of each person.
Anesthesia
This procedure is always done with general anesthesia. If you are a patient over 50 years of age, it will require a complete evaluation of the general condition, so we will request an electrocardiogram and a chest x-ray in addition to the blood tests.
Postoperative
The inflammation can last from 10 to 15 days, modern techniques allow a faster recovery. Bandage placement is required for the first five days and then continue with a chin strap for one month.
It is very useful to have postoperative therapy to accelerate the inflammation.
